Women's Denim Guide
Rag & Bone was founded in 2002 with one very clear vision: to make clothes that
they and their friends would love to wear every day. The starting point in this
mission was the traditional denim factories in Kentucky. Beginning with the basics,
rag & bone surrounded themselves with people who had been making patterns, cutting
fabric and sewing their whole lives. Concerned from the start with the authenticity
of the product, their early experience in denim informed the utilitarian, classic
work wear aesthetic reflected in their designs. Today all rag & bone denim is produced
out of Los Angeles, California, using a combination of both Japanese and American
fabrics.
