Inside Rag & Bone

Deirdre and Jenna, from the Visuals Team, discuss the inspiration behind rag & bone’s Halloween displays…

Deirdre: “In May we were at Brimfield Market where we saw these doll parts and thought that this is creepy, we should use this for something. It was perfect for Halloween so we later sourced dolls from vintage and antique markets and online.”

Jenna: “We were loosely inspired by the horror movie, May and a short story called The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gillman.”

Deirdre: “We decided to use the Shelia dress, which is a black crochet dress, in the window and use that fabric as the background so it looks like a dark web. Then we went for a ventriloquist theme for the men and we’re inspired by the 1945 horror Dead of Night.”
