- 1. Breakfast at Eveleigh Farmer’s Market, Darlington. It’s hard to restrain yourself here but make sure you do a full lap before committing, then pick up a snack and juice to start the day.
- 2. Take a swim at Icebergs, Bondi Beach. The beauty of our backyard never ceases to amaze and a quick dip with this backdrop is simply unbeatable.
- 3. Get post-swim snacks at Miss Chu’s, Darlinghurst. The spinach and tofu filling comes highly recommended.
- 4. Shop at Tuchuzy, Bondi Beach. Here is staff member Nikki outside the store looking great in rag and bone.
- 5. Take a stroll through The Art Gallery of New South Wales and check out the John Kaldor Collection. One of the most impressive and inspiring collections of art in our country, take your time here and you’ll find that when you leave, it doesn’t leave you.
- 6. Enjoy a coffee at Reuben Hills, Surry Hills. A true delight for coffee connoisseurs and foodies alike, every aspect of this establishment has been seriously considered from the beans to the beams. It’s modern and minimal without intimidation.
- 7. Have dinner at Wilbur’s Place, Kings Cross. Imaginative, quick, delicious, discreet, and cheap are not usually descriptions that you could use to illustrate the one venue, especially when you throw ‘Eastern Suburbs’ in there too. Wilbur’s Place defies the odds and has become one of our favorite eateries. An absolute must.
- 8. Settle down for cozy drinks at The Baxter Inn. Marvel at the Baxter’s impressive array of hundreds of different types of whiskey, and the even more impressive knowledge of the bartenders. An intimate and sexy bar tucked away under the streets of our city center, it feels like a gem preserved from another time and place.
The lovely staff of Bondi fashion institution, Tuchuzy boutique present their recommendations for the perfect day in their city, Sydney…
