Art and Culture: Uli Weber’s Portraits

Acclaimed for his imaginative fashion photography and portraiture alike, over the past two decades German photographer Uli Weber has captured key figures in British popular culture. Most recently, he shot stunning images of the ladies of the television phenomenon, Downton Abbey for Vogue.

An exhibition of his work, Uli Weber: Portraits, is currently taking place at New York’s Ten 43 Gallery (through April 14th, 2012). Curated by the gallery’s Director Laurie Sanderson, 18 powerful portraits by the award-winning photographer appear.

(Ten 43 Gallery, 1043 Madison Avenue  |  10075).
