The Sartorialist: Closer

Scott Schuman, aka The Sartorialist, presents a new style tome, The Sartorialist: Closer.
The award-winning style blogger has curated a beautiful selection of images taken on his travels around the world for his new book which comes with the choice of a men’s and women’s cover.
Here, Scott dispenses some advice for both sexes on how to be truly stylish.

For guys, Scott advises; “Spend the extra money to take your suit to the tailor and have it correctly fit. Correct sleeve, jacket, pant length. And learn to wear your dress pants on your waist, not your hips – they’re not jeans.”

For ladies, Scott suggests: “Learn to buy some investment pieces. We’ve gotten so use to fast fashion, and turning our wardrobes around so quickly that it’s hard to create any kind of consistent style, your wardrobe is consistently changing. Buying a few investment pieces that you’ll wear for more than one season is a great first step to creating a consistent style.”
