We recently collaborated with world-renowned Japanese luggage specialist Porter Yoshida & Co to create the limited-edition Jaybird backpack.
Inspired by signature elements of Porter’s traditional backpacks which were then given a rag & bone twist, the Jaybird is our first technical backpack.
“Porter is such an iconic brand – they’re renowned for their incredible attention to detail and use of very high quality materials, so to put our aesthetic into one their bags felt like the perfect collaboration,” says Marcus, the proud owner of a black Jaybird! “Their hardware is also very in line with ours and hardware is a big part of rag & bone,” he adds.
Comprised primarily of nylon cordura, the Jaybird comes equipped with a multitude of functional elements, including two side slip pockets, a zipped inner pocket, a clasp-fastening hood, adjustment straps and a reinforced bottom, complemented by sleek leather accents.
The shoulder straps, which have multiple adjustments, and back panel are also padded and constructed in a breathable mesh fabric.
Available in black and navy, the Jaybird is $395 and can currently be found here and in our Houston Street store (73 East Houston Street). Our other stores will carry the Jaybird later this Fall.
