Insider’s Guide – LA

Neelo Noory, market editor at Who What Wear, shares her favorite spots in LA…

You should stay at...Petit Ermitage in West Hollywood. It’s perfectly decorated and tucked away in a quiet nook, which is hard to find in WeHo.

You’ll have the best breakfast at… Huckleberry in Santa Monica. The best huevos rancheros I’ve ever had!

For lunch, try… Cafe Midi, the menu is like a bedtime story. It’s literally a book of yummy options!

The best spot for an upscale dinner… is Gjelina‘s. It’s not really fancy but the food is unbelievably good and always has a great crowd. For something more low-key, I’d suggst Rustic  Canyon!

Kick start your night out at… The Churchill. It’s fairly new and quickly one of my go-to’s in my neighborhood. I also really love Bronson Bar - it’s super cozy.

If you feel like dancing… try Harvard and Stone – they have delicious drinks and typically end the night with oldies!

For culture… the LACMA is a must (they have a coloring/craft room that you can easily stay at all day long.. if you’re into that sort of thing) and I also really love the flea markets - they are a huge part of LA weekends.

A tourist must… entails checking out the beaches in Malibu, they’re perfect.

If you want an adventure… go on a hike. Let me know how it is because I still haven’t done it though I hear there are some great ones in Malibu!

Before you leave town, you have to… grab an iced latte from Caffe Luxxe (it’ll change your life) and a mint chip ice cream cone from Sweet Rose.
