Throughout her career, legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz has captured some of the most enduring images of our time.
In 2009, during a particularly turbulent period in her life, Leibovitz was inspired to take a break from glossy celebrity photography, refocusing her lens to embark on a cultural ‘bucket list’.
Objects and historical locales of personal importance take pride of place in her tome, Pilgrimage. Niagara Falls, Abraham Lincoln’s hat and gloves, Georgia O’Keefe’s pastels and the home and Emily Dickinson are amongst the 123 photographs featured.
