“My approach to dressing is utility and functionality. If I can’t be on my feet all day or climb up my fourth-floor walkup, it’s likely I’m not wearing it. I always go back to denim.”
“Motherhood shifted how I cook and think about food. It used to be ‘I’m making a meal for someone.’ Now I feel an incredible responsibility to teach my daughter and others how to nourish themselves.”
“My day-to-day dressing is pretty simple. I have a uniform of classics, which is usually a version of worn jeans and a t-shirt, but they are made well. I like quality.”
“Creating a magical experience that’s going to be a lasting memory is important to me. Meaningful hospitality is not just taste but also atmosphere, the space, the lighting, the music.”
